Gatundu South MP Joseph Ngugi Nyumu is dead.
Mr Nyumu,
popularly known as Jossy by his supporters, collapsed at his Runda home in
Nairobi on Wednesday morning.
He was
rushed to a branch of the Nairobi Hospital near the UN headquarters but died as
doctors tried to resuscitate him.
His body was
moved to the Lee Funeral Home.
Mr Nyumu was
a first time MP of the constituency previously represented by President Uhuru
Kenyatta.
Immediately
the news of his death reached the public, supporters took to social media to
express their shock at the MP’s death.
Mr Nyumu was
elected on a TNA ticket in the March 4, 2013 elections.
He garnered
33,597 votes against his closest rival Joakim Kiarie Kamere who got 14,189
votes.

did it at 42, so I can still play in two more World Cups."
Following
Chelsea's final game of the season at Cardiff, Mourinho suggested Eto'o would
depart this summer, at the end of his one-year deal.
The
Chelsea manager will wait until pre-season before determining the future of his
loan stars. Mourinho presented his end-of-season report to the Chelsea
